The QA/QC Inspector under general supervision, develops and performs Quality Assurance/Quality Control audits based on quality system standards such as ISO 9000.
- Pay Rate: $30.00/ hour
- Contract Length: 1 year contract with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: 8:00 am -5:00pm | Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Assesses and documents the compliance to such systems based on the quality system standards. Identifies improvement opportunities based on audit.
- Performing vendor audits in order to improve incoming supplies.
- Planning, directing, and providing technical support for testing and design in materials engineering activities.
- Providing technical support to operations in the areas of nondestructive examination and Welding Engineering.
- May be involved with a team performing quality inspections on products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions.
Requirements
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in an Engineering required and 7 years of experience required.
