THE PROJECT:
Growthbuilt has experienced a milestone growth over the last year, growing to 170+ employees with forecasted revenue of up to $400 million. With that being said, Growthbuilt are delighted to partner with Catholic Healthcare on their new residential aged care facility (RACF) based in Kincumber.
This $35 million project will provide 108 rooms and feature a range of shared amenities that will be enjoyed by residents, their families and the broader community. This will also include a café, gym, consulting rooms, chapel, activity rooms, a wellness hub and other lifestyle spaces.
The development is a takeover project and Growthbuilt’s first collaboration with Catholic Healthcare. Both organisations are committed and focused on creating much needed additional services in the Central Coast for the growing aged population.
THE ROLE:
Growthbuilt are seeking an organised, detailed focused Contracts Administrator who can work closely and collaborate with our teams current Contracts Administrator while also being left alone to perform your day to day tasks. Don't worry, you will have plenty of support from our Commercial function to get up to speed on the way we do things.
The project is currently progressing through internal works, so your first month will see you engage with services and trades in the procurement phase, taking the lead on monthly cost reports and developing a relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.
Project is due for completion in June 2025.
Here’s what your day to day might look like:
- Tender response evaluation
- Subcontractor negotiation, selection and management
- Certification and payment of Progress Claims
- Finalisation of payments
- Liaison with Project Managers, Site Managers, Subcontractors and Suppliers
- Work within a third-party accredited Quality, Environmental & WHS systems
- Guide and mentor our first year Cadet on a Contract Administration rotation
ABOUT YOU:
- Tertiary-level qualification in Construction Management or equivalent
- Over 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator in a construction environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, Jobpac, Payapps, Aconex and ProcurePro or similar systems
- Proven ability to write scopes of work, negotiate and manage subcontracts and monitor the financial progress of construction projects
- Proficiency with head contract risk and compliance
- High-level communication skills with relevant stakeholder management
- High-level commercial expertise
