The Opportunity:

Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Craigieburn. You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
  • Complex Care including bowel care, catheter care and use of hoist

Pet Care: Please note our client has a cat and dog onsite and will require assistance with pet care.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
  • Drivers Licence & comprehensive car insurance

What shifts are we offering?

We are currently offering the below shifts:

  • Tuesday and Friday 8am to 12:30pm 
  • Opportunity to pick up additional shifts in the area for leave coverage
