The Opportunity:
Come and join our team! We are seeking two Community Disability Support Workers to support our client located in Ringwood. You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:
- Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
- Providing support with hygiene and personal care
- Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
- Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
- Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
- Assistance with catheter care
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with Multiple sclerosis & Osteoporosis
- Experienced in catheter care
What shifts are we offering?
- Daily Monday to Sunday 9pm to 11pm
- Monday 2pm to 4pm
- Tuesday to Friday 8am to 10am
- Saturday and Sunday - 8 am to 10.30am
