The Opportunity

WSP, as a globally leading provider of strategic asset management services, is seeking senior professionals to join our growing Advisory business.

Be a leader across our centre of excellence that supports our diverse range of clients and promotes asset management across our circa 6,000 Australian employees.

We are seeking a senior/mid-level professional, preferably with hands-on asset experience, and with a level of Certification in Asset Management and or CAMA, or in a position to immediately obtain these qualifications. This is a technical strategic asset management role and will include accountability to lead projects and people.

Our Strategic Asset Management team is a group of industry-leading, talented, passionate, and friendly professionals who provide Strategic Asset Management and advisory services to government and private clients. We operate as part of an integrated national team to deliver projects throughout Australia and internationally. We routinely work with colleagues from interstate and New Zealand and contribute to their projects. Our Australian team collaborates with WSP’s world-leading international experts in every continent of the world to ensure our projects learn from international best-practice.

We are looking for a candidate with expertise and passion for managing assets and management systems and delivering strategic asset management and advisory services to clients. Ideally, you will possess or be able to demonstrate experience in most of the following areas or have a passion to develop your skills.

  • Experience in hands-on asset experience, managing assets and or the asset management system.
  • Experience in strategic asset management and advisory services
  • Ability to work effectively and communicate with people at all levels in the organisation  
  • Effective time management and strong organisational skills 
  • A demonstrated understanding of client experience 
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail, the ability to see many solutions to a problem 
  • Demonstrated skill in report writing and presentation of data in easily understood, graphical formats suited to the intended reader
  • A commitment to building your industry profile with our support
  • Commitment to developing project management skills 
  • Certification in Asset Management and or a Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA)
  • Bachelor's Degree or Post-Graduate qualification 
  • Preferably 10 to 15 years of Industry experience
