Duration: 11 month contract

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

• System continuity testing and execution.
• Developing and maintaining SAP environments, including installing SAP application components.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting SAP technical issues.
• Creating tools and processes for continuity management.
• Developing procedures for system issue resolution.
• Collecting and analyzing metrics for long-term trends.
• Installing and maintaining hardware and software.
• Enhancing security settings and user access processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work with engineers across Nike to use and enhance the platform.
• Optimize IT infrastructure and services to ensure cost-effective and sustained application availability.
• Develop and execute complex tools and processes to support continuity management.
• Design, test, and implement monitoring tools and processes.
• Write procedures to address system issues and ensure resolutions.
• Collect and analyze long-term metrics for trending purposes.
• Perform complex installations of hardware and software, proactively ensuring success.
• Devise processes and procedures for applying and maintaining security settings and user access based on the technology platform.
• Recommend improvements based on analysis of current techniques and perceived imperfections.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years of development experience using AWS.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, Groovy, Java.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineers across Nike.
• Strong focus on computer and telephony technology tools for information creation, storage, exchange, and use.
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience.
• Specialized SAP basis skills for creating and maintaining SAP environments.
• Ability to recommend improvements based on analysis and perceived imperfections.
