About the role
As the Commissioning Team Lead, you will be responsible for delivering Transmission Stations Testing and Commissioning works with the planning, coordination and management of human, material and capital resources to provide a cost effective, quality service that meets key performance indicators and financial accountabilities of the business.
Key Responsibilities include
- Utilise resources, assets, projects and staffing to maximise achievement of goals and required levels of skills and performance
- Actively participate in a culture of teamwork, achievement, accountability and outcome focus
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective contract and relationship management and achieve the most appropriate and desirable outcomes for the business
- Build and lead a commissioning team to ensure testing and commissioning works are completed efficiently to client satisfaction and industry regulations
- Be a testing and commissioning champion empowered by a demonstrated track record and commitment to project delivery excellence around safety, quality, cost and time
About You
To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant electrical qualification, along with significant experience in high voltage substations testing & commissioning.
Additionally, you will also have;
- Leadership experience including project team leadership
- Strong understanding of high-voltage equipment
- In-depth knowledge of protection and control systems
- Familiarity with Australian high-voltage electricity networks (preferably the TransGrid Network)
- Proven expertise in planning and executing network outages
- Demonstrated capability in developing and implementing safe systems of work
