About the role

This role is based at our Broadmeadows depot with a mix of field and office-based work (flexible / hybrid working options available). You will enjoy a brilliant team culture and an amazing work-life balance with a 9-day fortnight.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Maintain and support critical OT infrastructure for SCADA and protection systems
  • Manage and troubleshoot networking hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls and MPLS
  • Design and implement network architectures, including IP addressing, VLAN schemes, and fibre optic networks
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and security updates to ensure system reliability
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of field hardware (radios, antennas, cabling etc)
  • Work closely with internal teams to support network operations
  • Participate in an on-call roster (around 1 in 6 weeks) to respond to critical incidents

About You

We’re looking for someone hands-on and wants to make a high impact in a fast-paced utilities environment. You will have a collaborative nature and enjoy learning about new and emerging technologies with an operational tech mindset. You will also possess the following:

  • Ideally 3-4 years’ experience in OT, networking or related field
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or significant industry experience, with experience in MPLS
  • Victorian drivers licence (essential)
  • Ability to work at heights and install network equipment
