About the role

We’re looking for skilled, hard-working Electrical & Instrumentation qualified individuals to join our team as a Pipeline Operator Technician. This is your chance to make a real impact while working with cutting-edge equipment and technology. You will also enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with our 2:2 roster, based out of Biloela.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Responding to incidents and emergencies
  • Operation and maintenance of high-pressure natural gas equipment
  • Maintenance of valves and other mechanical equipment
  • Patrol and maintenance of the pipeline right of way
  • Liaison work with landholders and public authorities
  • A wide variety of pipeline duties including mechanical work, documentation and records maintenance
  • Inter / intra state travel required at times

About You

The successful candidate will have an Electrical & Instrumentation trade qualification with proven experience working as a member of an Operations and Maintenance team in the gas transmission or gas processing industry.

You will bring the following qualifications, skills and experience with you:

  • Drivers licence (MR Class desirable)
  • Demonstrated electrical and instrumentation experience
  • High pressure gas experience
  • Centrifugal Compressor operation and maintenance
  • Personal computing skills utilising Microsoft Office systems
