About the role
Are you ready for a hands-on role that keeps you on your toes? We’re looking for skilled, hard-working Electrical & Instrumentation qualified individuals to join our team as a Pipeline Operator Technician. This is your chance to make a real impact while working with cutting-edge equipment and technology. You will also enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with our 2:2 roster, based out of Biloela.
Key Responsibilities include
- Responding to incidents and emergencies
- Operation and maintenance of high-pressure natural gas equipment
- Maintenance of valves and other mechanical equipment
- Patrol and maintenance of the pipeline right of way
- Liaison work with landholders and public authorities
- A wide variety of pipeline duties including mechanical work, documentation and records maintenance
- Inter / intra state travel required at times
About You
The successful candidate will have an Electrical & Instrumentation trade qualification with proven experience working as a member of an Operations and Maintenance team in the gas transmission or gas processing industry.
You will bring the following qualifications, skills and experience with you:
- Drivers licence (MR Class desirable)
- Demonstrated electrical and instrumentation experience
- High pressure gas experience
- Centrifugal Compressor operation and maintenance
- Personal computing skills utilising Microsoft Office systems
