About the role

Are you ready to take the first step toward a rewarding career in business administration? Join our forward-thinking team as a Trainee Business Support Officer on a two-year fixed term contract at our Cambridge depot and get hands-on experience while earning your Certificate III in Business.

 The Certificate III in Business will give you the practical skills to successfully work in an office environment, while our team will provide on the job training and support, some of the tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Dive deep into the world of procurement, purchasing, and business systems with real, practical experience
  • Work directly with suppliers and vendors, learning how to manage key business partnerships
  • Get comfortable with financial systems and tools like SAP while understanding key commercial practices
  • Develop your skills in managing data quickly and accurately
  • Handle multiple priorities at once – perfect for sharpening your problem-solving abilities

 About You

  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with multiple conflicting priorities
  • Strong computer literacy and competence in use of the Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Completed Year 12 TCE
  • Understanding of payments processes
  • Experience in building and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A valid driver’s licence (desirable)

At the end of the program, a successful Trainee will have completed all competencies for a Cert III in Business.
