About the role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Trades Assistant to jump into an exciting, hands-on role with our crew based in Glen Waverley. You will be working Monday to Friday on a 9-day fortnight.
This isn’t your average Trade Assistant job, you’ll be working alongside a dynamic team on the electrical distribution network, supporting construction, operations, and maintenance in a high-risk environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities include
- Assisting Line workers with day-to-day nonelectrical tasks and depot duties
- Operating hand and power tools, as well as heavy machine
- Transporting power poles and standing them with the use of the crane
- Bringing a team first, can do attitude with a strong focus on safety
About You
The successful applicant will have experience working in a similar role in a maintenance/construction environment and you thrive in a team-focused, safety-first culture.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence (HR+ highly desirable)
- OHS Construction Induction Card (White/Blue/Red)
- High Risk Work Licence; Dogging, Rigging, Forklift or Crane (C2) (highly desirable)
