About the role
We’re looking for a motivated Skilled Labourer to support our dynamic team across various construction disciplines. This is a hands-on, field-based role with standard working hours from 6am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities include
- Read & understand drawings, prepare & setup construction sites
- Shovel asphalt and dirt, spotting for underground services, digging trenches, laying and installing cables, conduit, pipes in accordance with client specifications
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks
- Maintain a safe and organised job site, following all safety protocols, and report any violations immediately to management
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience in a similar construction position, be a collaborative team player, and demonstrate a strong dedication to maintaining safety standards.
- Valid Australian Driver's License (HR licence highly desirable)
- Excavator, Skid Steer ticket (highly desirable)
- White/Blue Card (OHS Construction Induction Card)
- First Aid Certificate (preferred)
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift, Dogging (highly desirable)
- Confined Space Certification (highly desirable)
