About the role
We are seeking an experienced Works Ready Coordinator to join our team at our Mornington depot.
The primary purpose of the Works Ready Coordinator role is to oversee the efficient preparation and planning of work packages to deliver the program of works, while ensuring that effective processes, systems, and practices are in place to support the timely and successful execution of the program.
Key Responsibilities include
- Advise third parties on Electrical Assets Regulation for construction and utility infrastructure projects
- Issue "Permits to Work" (PTW) for work near power lines
- Create job packs for field crews and customers, including drawings, PTWs, and procedures
- Submit applications for high and low voltage isolations and shutdowns within customer deadlines
- Schedule high and low voltage shutdowns as needed, ensuring timely completion
- Address regulatory breaches with external parties, offering professional and constructive guidance for resolution
- Identify and suggest improvements for business systems, processes, and workflows
About You
To be considered for this role you will have the knowledge of safe working practices, OHS&E principles and Australian standards with practical knowledge of legal, financial, quality and risk management concepts and their application to field employees.
- Previous experience working across high/low voltage environments and be familiar with industry standard operating policies and procedures for overhead electrical distribution systems
- Proficiency in SAP, Word, Excel, and planning software is highly regarded
- Certification in ESI – Power Systems (or equivalent) highly desirable
- Current Australian driver’s licence
