At Zinfra, we’re about powering possibilities – and right now, we’re looking for a Domestic Team Leader to drive the delivery of domestic works across the regions. If you enjoy leading with care, balancing multiple contracts across a large geographical area while nurturing quality, safety, and performance, this role could be your next career move.
This role can be based out of our Rowville or Thomastown depots, however there is flexibility to work out of other depots.
Key Responsibilities include
- Lead and coordinate contractors and subcontractors across key AusNet assets
- Manage audits, inspections, and maintenance projects with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach
- Review and approve quotes and tenders, ensuring exceptional value and compliance
- Uphold high standards of quality, safety, and environmental care
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement across contractor management and field operations
About You
We’re looking for a confident, compassionate leader who thrives on balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a steady, thoughtful approach. You’ll bring sector expertise, an understanding of managing complex contracts across wide areas, and a genuine ability to motivate and uplift teams to deliver excellent outcomes, safely and collaboratively.
- Leadership experience in transmission and sub-transmission electricity environments (highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of AusNet and Victorian Electrical Transmission and Distribution networks
- Exceptional ability to juggle competing priorities calmly and effectively
- Proven success in building supportive, high-performing teams and fostering strong contractor relationships
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office, SAP, and related platforms
