About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced PERU Operator for our Mornington Depot. The primary purpose of this role is to assist with the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical networks by safely and effectively operating associated plant and equipment. Assistance specifically involves utilising equipment to aid in the boring of holes and the lifting of power poles into position.

Key Responsibilities include 

  • Provide assistance and plant operation support to electrical line workers
  • Completing risk assessments/job safety analysis prior to commencing work at each site
  • Support various crews in safely upgrading and maintaining the network
  • Completion of work tasks within required time frames to meet customer requirements

About You 

The successful applicant will have experience working in a similar role within the construction industry and have the following:

  • Valid HR Drivers Licence – with HC (Heavy Combination) licence.
  • Current Work Safe Licence To Perform High Risk Work with C2 Endorsement
  • Work Safely in the electrical environment, knowledge and understanding of electrical legislation, codes and standards of practice
