About the role
In this role, you will manage and lead field staff while collaborating closely with Zinfra Services on resource allocation and management for small to medium construction projects. You’ll be responsible for supporting and enhancing operational efficiencies, ensuring that customer service, quality, and safety standards are met on time and within budget.
Additionally, you will provide supervisory support to both internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring that all personnel are trained, adequately resourced, and working in compliance with Zinfra’s policies and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities include
- Manage and support field staff
- Supervision of small and medium construction works
- Improve operational efficiencies and performance
- To plan, organise and support field activities within specific projects/jobs; ensuring delivery expectations of customer service, quality and safety are met in a timely and profitable manner
- To ensure work practices and procedures accord with Zinfra Company Policies, Quality System and statutory safety requirements
- Apply for Permits required to complete the work
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader with experience in field staff supervision, particularly within Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, successfully managing work groups of up to 20 individuals while ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with senior management
- Proven ability to undertake maintenance of High Voltage electrical apparatus and Construction activities in stations
- Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of HV Electrical construction and maintenance practice
- Proactive in identifying the critical resources necessary to achieve desired objectives
- Capacity to act decisively to ensure network security and public safety
- Display a positive customer and team focus, work effectively, participate in identifying workplace change or productivity improvements
- Current active Australian driver’s license.
