About the role

We are currently recruiting for Electrical Fitter to join an autonomous and high-performing team based out of our Rowville depot.

You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and fault response/repair of equipment in the field. In this role, you will be part of a team maintaining a number of brownfield and greenfield sites, which include Terminal and Zone substations and power distribution infrastructure on the AusNet Transmission Electricity Network.

About You

The successful candidate is required to display a positive customer and team focus, work effectively, participate in identifying workplace change or productivity improvements.

  • Cert III Electrical Fitter/Electrical Mechanic
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
  • Exposure and competence using field mobility devices, PCs including Microsoft Suite and ideally SAP
  • Previous HV Operating & Application for Access experience (highly desirable)
  • Oil processing & operating experience (desirable)
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work to set timelines
  • Strong and proven safety culture
