About the role

We are on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Contracts Administrator to join our vibrant Melbourne team! In this pivotal role, reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Manager, you'll be at the heart of providing essential Commercial and Contract Management support for Zinfra’s Power Services South Business Unit. As a key advisor to our operations teams, you'll play a crucial part in managing our primary client portfolios within Victoria's Power industry. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Act as integrated commercial business partner, working closely with operations as well as key support functions such as HR, HSE, Finance and Legal
  • Manage and support established services contracts to ensure that the field and operations teams deliver to Zinfra’s obligations under its client head contracts
  • Provide contract support and advice to operational teams to enable appropriate change management
  • Manage and lead commercial claims and contract notices, including external client interfacing and negotiating
  • Support and input into tenders, working collaboratively with the bid teams to ensure consistent and appropriate commercial solutions are provided

About You

To set yourself up for success in Zinfra, you arise from a similar role in a comparable industry and are seeking a role with greater breadth where you can be autonomous and influential. You demonstrate well-versed skills in Contract Management related areas, including: Change Management, Problem Solving, Claims development, Head Contract governance, Finance Fundamentals, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution, Legal Fundamentals, Procurement, Project and Risk Management.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law or Engineering
  • An understanding of the utilities industry is desirable, but not essential
  • Appreciation for how business objectives are achieved via commercial and contract management
  • Ability to develop strong relationships built on knowledge, integrity and fair play

You are autonomous, thrive in diverse work environments and are able to effectively manage the often changing priorities. Finally, you couple a 'can do' attitude with a positive, friendly demeanour.
