Lifestyle Assistant

POSITION STATUS: Permanent Part-Time - (0.8 EFT)

CLASSIFICATION: Life Style Assistant (Qualified Or unqualified)

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• ·          No qualification required for Grade 1 Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant
• ·          Certificate IV Leisure & Health must be completed to increase to a Grade 2;

SELECTION CRITERIA

ESSENTIAL:

• ·           Proven Organisational and Interpersonal Skills.
• ·           Demonstrated ability to organise work according to the competing priorities at hand such as program provision and documentation.
• ·           Excellent communication skills.
• ·           Ability to self-direct as required.
• ·           Excellent time management skills.
• ·           To have recent experience as a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant
• ·           Knowledge of Manual Handling, Occupational Health & Safety and Infection Control Procedures and Guidelines.

DESIRABLE:

• ·           Drivers licence would be of benefit (or willingness to acquire same).
• ·           Desired relevant certificate as a Health Care Worker (Aged Care).
