The role of Director of Clinical Training will supervise General Practice trainees and International Medical Graduates at Yarrawonga Health.
The key accountabilities of the Director of Clinical Training include, but are not limited to:
· To provide hospital-based supervision of General Practice trainees and/or International Medical Graduates at Yarrawonga Health.
· To provide dedicated teaching time (e.g. tutorials, reflective practice and clinical reviews) for General Practice trainees and/or International Medical Graduates at Yarrawonga Health.
· To serve as the RACGP or ACRRM supervisor of General Practice trainees, and the Medical Board of Australia supervisor of International Medical Graduates, at Yarrawonga Health.
· To liaise with Duty Medical Officers at Yarrawonga Health to support the orientation, supervision, teaching, assessment and welfare of General Practice trainees and/or International Medical Graduates at Yarrawonga Health.
· If required, to liaise with the RACGP or ACRRM to support the accreditation of General Practice training at Yarrawonga Health, and to liaise with the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria to support the accreditation of prevocational medical training at Yarrawonga Health.
