About the Role:
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced After Hours Hospital Coordinator to join our team at Yarrawonga Health. In this role, you’ll provide leadership and support after hours, overseeing hospital operations, ensuring high standards of clinical care, and maintaining operational efficiency across all departments.
To be successful in this role you will possess extensive clinical experience, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to relate to staff, patients, relatives/carers and other health care providers. You will also offer proven leadership capabilities and be committed to modelling the Yarrawonga Health values and expectations.

Key Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current practicing certificate.
- Tertiary qualifications in management or working towards same highly desirable
Essential:
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Minimum Five (5) Years’ Clinical experience in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Residential Aged Care knowledge and experience
- Ability to operate effectively in an environment of change and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources effectively
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to function independently
- High level effective communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience with clinical performance monitoring, budgeting and resource management
- Proven knowledge of information management systems
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary health service issues
Desirable:
- Membership of relevant professional body
- Tertiary qualifications in management or working towards same highly desired
- Knowledge of current issues, trends and research in Aged Care
