EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CLINICAL SERVICES
Yarrawonga Health is a rural health service comprising acute care, peri operative services, community & primary care and residential aged care. The health service is located in the town of Yarrawonga and provides cross border health services to Yarrawonga, Mulwala and the surrounding communities.
Located on the border of NSW and Victoria on the beautiful Murray River and Lake Mulwala, the townships of Yarrawonga Mulwala are a destination location with a rapidly growing population and tourist influx. Both towns are within an hour of Albury, Shepparton and Wangaratta situated in one of the most renown wine growing and farming regions of Australia.
Yarrawonga Health is seeking an experienced, dynamic Executive Director of Clinical Services to compliment the executive team providing clinical, nursing & midwifery professional leadership. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful applicant will have extensive clinical leadership experience, strong professional networks and demonstrated understanding of contemporary clinical practice and professional issues.

Key Selection Criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration as a registered nurse
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience as an executive or senior leader managing large diverse teams across a range of clinical portfolios including primary, acute and aged care
- Post graduate tertiary qualifications in health administration or equivalent experience
- Current NDIS worker clearance
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective professional clinical leadership and success in leading positive organizational change.
- Demonstrated achievement of clinical key performance indicators against target relevant to the role
- Demonstrated capability of service development and implementation of service growth opportunities
- Highly developed understanding and participation in complex standards compliance assessment processes
- Demonstrated community stakeholder engagement supporting health service planning and community advocacy.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical governance leadership, including management of complex root cause analysis processes.
