Medical Officer

Permanent Full-time position: 40 hours per week with 1 ADO per month (Part-time will be considered)

Classification will align with relevant EBA and experience.

We are a growing health service and currently have an opportunity for a Medical Officer. With your skill and experience, you will provide medical services to the Urgent Care Centre, Acute Ward and residential aged care facilities of Yarrawonga Health (and any secondment sites). Who we are looking for

We are seeking applications from a Medical Officer with the following experience:

  • General registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Clinical experience from Australia or an AMC competent medical authority i.e. New Zealand, USA, Canada and Ireland is 3 to 5 years.
  • Clinical experience from a non-competent medical authority is 6 plus years.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent) recognised by the Australian Medical Council

  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements. Please see position description for the full list of key accountabilities.
  • A current National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Victorian Working with Children Check.
  • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with Victorian Public Health requirements.
