Position Status: Permanent Part-time (Up to full-time)

Classification: Health Services Administration - HS2-3 (Dependant on experience)

About the role:

Yarrawonga Health are seeking an experienced finance officer who enjoys working in a busy environment with excellent communication, time management and organisational skills. The successful candidate will have extensive experience (3+ years) in a healthcare setting, an excellent knowledge of software programs (i.e. Oracle, Manad and UNITI) and demonstrated experience in a finance setting. The successful candidate must be able to work well under pressure with competing demands, liaise with staff and management at all levels, as well as demonstrate excellent customer service.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Extensive experience (3 years plus) in a healthcare setting.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated excellent program-based knowledge of software programs i.e. Oracle, Manad, UNITI
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications with demonstrated ability to work to tight timelines and prioritise competing work demands.
  • Knowledge of organisation-wide accreditation processes including the new National Standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrated high level skills in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels and including a demonstrated understanding of, and preparedness to commit to the organisation’s values.
  • Strong organisational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of and structure of current Aged Care fees and charges as set out Department of Health.

Desirable

  • Certificate or qualifications in business administration.
