Our Water team promotes holistic, sustainable water resource management for governments, investors, developers, manufacturers, utilities, and corporations, helping with network maintenance and development, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, cost reduction, and future-ready strategies.

We partner with leading water authorities to deliver a wide range of water infrastructure projects and are involved in major programs across South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania.

Our national treatment team has been engaged in a number of notable projects including the upgrade of Coolum STP, amplification of Cronulla WWTP, Wollongong WWTP, Happy Valley WTP upgrades, Eyre Peninsula Desalination Plant, and Kangaroo Island Desalination Plants.

We are currently recruiting nationally for our Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide offices, seeking expressions of interest from experienced to Technical Executive level Mechanical Engineers.

We're seeking water treatment professionals with a can-do attitude, a consultative approach, and the ability to prioritize and lead project teams. In return, we offer a flexible hybrid work environment, with both part-time and full-time positions available, and diverse career pathways.

What you’ll do

  • Contribute to successful project delivery utilising your technical design expertise, from initial input, design documentation to technical reviews and design/project management.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of water and wastewater technology, bringing innovation to every design and procurement process.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver creative and effective project outcomes.
  • Be a key player in assisting or developing winning proposals and pursuits.
  • Participate in company development initiatives
  • Get involved in shaping the industry by joining committees, engaging with industry bodies, and presenting at events.

About You

You’re likely to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with CPEng accreditation (or working towards).
  • Technical competence across a wide spectrum of water and/or wastewater treatment/process disciplines with relevant consulting experience in the water industry.
  • Proficient in hydraulic and civil design for water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Ability to utilize modeling software, analytics techniques, and conduct detailed design and equipment selection.
  • Familiarity with Mass Balance, Design Basis, Equipment Sizing, PFD, P&ID, and FDs.
