Mining

Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you’ll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining. We provide both study management and integrated EPCM services to the global mining industry - Pit to port, Concept to Commissioning. 

The Opportunity:

You will be a Project Manager/Study Manager based in Adelaide, have a collaborative mindset, and experience working on mid-size to large projects. An understanding of BHP Project Management processes is desirable. Please see below the breakdown of the role:

  •  Lead discipline managers, and with discipline managers manage the numerous discipline inputs to the study.
  • Execute the study in accordance with agreed requirements, and be the point of contact for client
  • Co-ordinate all study activities
  • Manage interfaces across disciplines, engineering, optimise outcomes to meet clients’ strategic objectives.
  • Ensure project study control systems are in place to manage time, cost, quality and take proactive action to ensure delivery to expectations.

The role will also include Business Development, in which you will lead pursuits of new projects in consultation with team leadership, and prepare proposals including methodology, price and schedule.

An engineering or project management qualification with extensive years managing resource or infrastructure multidisciplinary studies
