We invite highly motivated Mechanical Engineers with a background in water to join our Water Group across multiple locations in Australia. We offer the opportunity to work on local and national water infrastructure projects, collaborating with a diverse team of experts to deliver sustainable and resilient water solutions. We welcome applications from candidates with varying levels of experience, from intermediate to senior roles. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver project goals.
  • Manage day-to-day tasks across multiple projects of varying complexity.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical clients.
  • Contribute to project success through technical input, reviews, risk management, and sign-off.
  • Apply State and Federal water regulations and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on water and wastewater technologies, providing innovative solutions in project design and procurement.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including clients and vendors.
  • Provide technical contributions to proposals and pursuits.
  • Support company development initiatives.
  • Mentor staff and actively participate in the Mentoring Program.
  • Contribute to industry committees, events, and delivery papers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; CPEng/RPEQ preferred.
  • Proven experience in engineering consultancy or design roles within the water industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems design principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD and simulation software.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
