The Opportunity

Are you passionate about shaping the future of transport? We're seeking an ‘experienced Transport Planner' to join our dynamic Planning and Mobility (PAM) team in our Sydney office. 

Our PAM team is a group of dedicated professionals specializing in transport planning, traffic engineering, and transport modelling. We work on some of the most high-profile and exciting transport projects in Sydney, Australia, and Southeast Asia. With a solid pipeline of work ahead, this role offers you the opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects, including metro, light rail, high-speed rail, bus rapid transit, ferry systems, cycling, and pedestrian infrastructure. 

What You’ll Bring 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning, Geography, or Transport Planning. 
  • Proven experience working with NSW government clients, particularly in public and active transport projects. 
  • Expertise in spatial analysis and map creation using QGIS or ArcGIS, leveraging data to underpin planning decisions. 
  • A track record of preparing and delivering effective stakeholder workshops. 
  • Strong skills in technical report writing and the creation of transport planning graphics (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or similar). 
  • Exposure to project management practices and principles. 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and deliver projects directly to clients in an efficient and timely manner. 
  • Craft compelling, high-quality winning proposals and deliver exceptional technical reports. 
  • Bring analytical rigor to studies, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. 
  • Guide and develop junior planners, while managing team workloads as needed.
