Mining

Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you’ll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.

The Opportunity:

Due to the growth and success of our Brisbane office, we are currently searching for an Electrical Engineer to join our team, based within our Mining and Sustaining Capital division. Our team provides a range of electrical engineering design and project management services to mining and Infrastructure clients around Australia. 

What you’ll do:

•  Working within a team of engineers to manage and design and deliver a broad range of mining and infrastructure projects
• Supporting the wider Mining team and other teams within the company nationally when the opportunity presents
• Prepare electrical and control system designs and supporting drawings and documentation

About You

• MUST have a minimum of 2 years post Graduate employment history
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn
• Ability to collaborate and be a team player
• Flexible thinker who can be adaptive to varying scale of projects
• An Electrical Engineer with solid relevant experience in mining and infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience in:
• Industrial LV reticulation and HV substations (preferable) designs
• Controls and instrumentation (preferable) design
• Understanding schematic drawings
• Working with spreadsheets, PowerCad, and PTW (Preferable)
• Good technical writing and communications skills
