As part of the team, you will:
- Work with key external stakeholders, clients and colleagues from all parts of the WSP business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes
- Coordinate project digital delivery requirements and modelling resources to successfully deliver high calibre outcomes
- Use BIM technologies both in cloud and managed systems to integrate prepare concise engineering drawings from sketches and design information
- Undertake reviews of engineering drawings to ensure compliance with CAD Standards and Quality Systems
- Manage and monitor the quality of work performed by others and promote a culture of technical excellence through mentoring and training less experienced drafters
- Fulfil Project Drafter role – manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size
- Planning and controlling of deliverables, resource management and maintaining communication between engineering and drafting staff on the project
- Work with Revit, and other 3D modelling tools to prepare engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information with no or minimal assistance
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced modelers/drafters
What we will like about you:
- Ideally, 5+ years of experience in Bridges and transport structures
- Excellent drafting and detailing skills
- Proficiency in CAD and BIM tools such as REVIT, AutoCAD and Microstation. Civil 3D, Dynamo or similar visual programming experience desirable
- Experience of BIM modelling and Digital Engineering processes including Revit model project setup and workflow experience
- Interest in developing skills in Parametric modelling and Computational Design
- Ability to coach modelers/drafters
- Team player with good communication skills
