As a Senior Structural & Concrete Designer, you will join a friendly team of professionals at our centrally located Perth CBD office. In this role, you will work across multiple Sustaining Capital projects for range of mining clients, with work encompassing both greenfield and brownfield Process and Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) projects.

What you’ll do:
- Work across multiple structural and concrete designs in Sustaining Capital project environment and enjoy opportunities to work on greenfield and brownfield projects for various tier 1 mining clients.
- Deliver structural designs for heavy industrial steelworks and for Process and NPI projects.
- Develop concrete designs for heavy industrial reinforcement beams, slabs, pedestals and retaining walls.
- Create and progress design deliverables in accordance with the project management and design management plans.
- Maintain a strong focus on the project schedule requirements and ensure timely completion of tasks to maintain project schedules.
- Maintain an interdisciplinary awareness of the design progression and actively participate in design reviews, audits and presentations.
- Identify and report any potential deviations from agreed scope of works and follow the agreed change management process prior to executing changes.
About You
You’re likely to have extensive experience working within the mining industry, this including experience delivering structural and concrete designs on projects for various tier 1 mining clients. In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:
- Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Associate Degree.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working as a Structural Designer and delivering structural and concrete designs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience using Bentley Connect series including MicroStation CE, and Open Buildings designer connect edition.
- Proficiency and demonstrated experience using Windows applications, and Excel applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with other team members, wider organisation and subconsultants.
- High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, and ability to use complex technical knowledge of structural and concrete design to analyse and interpret information.
