As an Environmental Engineer specialising in Contaminated Site Remediation, you’ll be an integral part of our dynamic team, working on projects that drive sustainable solutions and make a significant impact on communities and the environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in the design and implementation of remediation solutions across various sectors, including Oil and Gas, transport, manufacturing, and industrial sites.
  • Conduct detailed environmental site assessments, analysing data from soil, groundwater, soil vapour, ambient air, sediment, and surface water.
  • Support remediation projects, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality fieldwork execution.
  • Prepare technical reports such as Validation ESA’s, RAPs, and more, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with experienced technical specialists and auditors to develop effective remediation measures.
  • Contribute to the mentorship of junior staff and support them in project scoping, design, installation, and evaluation of remediation solutions.
  • Build strong client relationships and assist in managing projects to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Participate in the development and growth of the local team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

About You:

You are an enthusiastic professional with 3+ years of experience in contaminated site remediation. You bring:

  • Solid knowledge of soil and groundwater contaminants and experience with remediation strategies.
  • Understanding of WHS Regulations and some experience in a similar role.
  • Skills in contaminated land sampling, investigation methodologies, and remediation technologies.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering, science, geology, or related fields.
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence and familiarity with local regulations on contaminated sites.
  • A keen interest in developing your skills and contributing to the growth of the team.
