Help us Transform Mining Waste into Sustainable Solutions
As a member of our Tailings Team, you'll be at the forefront of transformative projects that redefine industry possibilities.
Position Details:
- Duration: casual or permanent full time
- Schedule: 2-3 day to 5 days per week
- Location: Office-based with potential site visits
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Analyses: Develop and analyse soil strength parameters and perform detailed design analyses for tailings storage facilities and earth structures.
- Manage Specifications: Oversee on-site design specifications and changes, collaborating with clients and contractors to ensure effective implementation.
- Field Work: Travel to remote mine sites for site inspections, geotechnical investigations, and QA/QC activities to gain practical experience.
- Technical Assessments: Carry out assessments such as tailings beach modelling and stability analyses to support project integrity.
- Prepare Reports: Create and deliver technical reports, proposals, and project deliverables on time, demonstrating your expertise in the field.
Requirements:
- Final year student currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering preferred), with graduation expected by June 2025 or already completed.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proven ability to write detailed reports effectively.
