This role will see you enhance your capabilities and the reputation of WSP’s Mining Major Projects team. You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.

Mining

Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you’ll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensuring that quality performance indicators are identified & reported to management via audit reporting.
  •  Complete internal and 2nd party supplier audit as agreed schedule plan or directed. 
  •  Liaison with third party accredited certification bodies to ensure audits & corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensuring the development & implementation of training related to quality assurance and business improvement initiatives & programs for project delivery teams.
  • Manage and monitor the inputs and outputs of the issues database to ensure a consistent application of the corrective actions to prevent recurrence of nonconformity.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in an associated field such as: Quality Management, Business Management, HSEQ etc
  • Approved AS/NZS ISO 9001 auditor qualification and eligible to be registered with IRCA
  • Minimum 6 years relevant experience with developing/maintaining Quality Management Systems
  • Experience and detailed knowledge AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015
  • Experience working within a multi discipline Project Management / Engineering Services environment
  • Cert IV Certificate in Training and Competency Based Assessment is advantageous
