About the Role

An excellent career opportunity has become available for an Account Manager to join our business managing a portfolio of Healthcare clients. You will be responsible for achieving budget revenue, gross margin and organic growth through the development and implementation of sales plans by account. Additionally, you will maintain effective client relationships and retain client contract by using effective sales strategy and sales excellence.

What you’ll be doing

Sales Performance & Growth

  • Build and implement a sales plan based on your customer base, drawing on support from Senior Account Manager, Sales Manager and Business Development Team
  • Convert leads into wins and develop strategies for organic growth 
  • Implement and manage uniform programs for clients
  • Strategic plans for contract retention, working alongside the legal team, Sales Manager & Senior Account Manager as required
  • On-board customers for successful first order, including credit application / account setup, embroidery setup, e-Commerce setup, marketing collateral, initial order, etc.

 Reporting

  • Oversee preparation and analysis of weekly / monthly reporting (internal / external) - e.g. Latest Sales Estimates, Customer reports including DIFOT & Backorders, etc.
  • Monitor KPI’s and implement strategies for improvement
  • Highlight & rectify any areas of contract non-compliance 

Sales Planning & Product Range Efficiency

  • Manage stock and service model within efficient levels to ensure maximum profitability of client sales & limited liability if applicable
  • Manage range life-cycles with clients
  • Liaise with the business to prepare annual budget by client (revenue & margin)

 What we’re looking for

In addition to your strong sense of customer centricity, drive for results and ability to form meaningful relationships, ideally you will demonstrate:

  • Sales and account growth experience 
  • Proven ability to achieve targets via developing and implementing sales growth strategies 
  • Business to business sales and service, including demonstrated application of the sales process (prospecting, pipeline management, negotiation/closing and ongoing service)
  • Ability to function in a complex matrix organisation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, communication skills, including oral and written
  • Proficient computer skills in different IT applications including MS Office and Microsoft Teams
  • Self-motivated with strong time management
