About the Role
This role supports the Sales Manager in managing and growing the wholesale national retailer’s portfolio across all brands and categories. It focuses on achieving sales targets and service level agreements by navigating the administrative and compliance requirements essential for servicing national retailers.
Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities, driving business development, overseeing product and marketing initiatives, managing product range development, and analysing wholesale channel accounts to ensure budgeted sales, profit, and growth targets are met while building strong and strategic relationships.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to plan, execute, and implement sales, product, and marketing strategies that enhance the presence of WWG brands in the national retailers market.
- Prepare and execute initiatives designed to increase sales and market share.
- Oversee customer order handling, inquiries, and complaint resolution to meet or exceed agreed service standards.
- Engage with customers to ensure complete satisfaction and build long-lasting relationships.
- Manage customer relationships through email, phone, branch visits, and field visits on a regular schedule or as needed.
- Develop and maintain efficient and effective customer communication plans and operating rhythms.
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with key accounts and national retail customers.
- Communicate and enforce relevant policies and procedures that impact or involve customers.
- Prepare and analyze internal and external monthly and quarterly reports to guide decision-making.
- Attend training programs on products, systems, and skills and apply learned expertise to enhance customer interactions.

What we’re looking for
You will be highly commercial and possess strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Along with your business acumen, you will have:
- Extensive and successful sales experience demonstrated through year-on-year achievement of sales targets;
- Experience working with National retailers
- Capacity to travel to tradeshows and interstate customers – minimum once per month
- Demonstrated experience managing a complex and diverse customer portfolio
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
- Business to Customer or Business to Business selling and servicing;
- Demonstrated ability to implement sales strategies and tactics;
