About the Role

As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you’ll manage the flow of goods in and out of our VA department. Your tasks will include receiving stock, altering garments, and folding, packing, and invoicing orders. You’ll ensure everything runs smoothly and meets our quality standards.

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensuring timely completion of orders within agreed lead-times.
  • Inspecting orders for damage and verifying mono placement accuracy.
  • Packing and dispatching outgoing goods.
  • Recording details of delivery slips, requisitions, and invoices.
  • Communicating with delivery drivers and suppliers.
  • Sharing information about stock issues.
  • Safely operating machinery and equipment (Embroidery and Heatpress).
  • Completing Work In Progress (WIP) reports.
  • Performing data entry tasks.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse, recycling waste whenever possible.

What we’re looking for

  • Prior warehouse experience; and
  • Experience operating Embroidery (Barudan), Sewing and Heat press machines;
  • Experience in leading people desired not required
  • A proven ability to communicate effectively;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Sound literacy and numeracy skills;
  • Computer skills;
  • Exceptional customer service skills;
  • Time management and organisational skills;
  • Ability to work well under pressure;
  • Safety conscious;
  • Responsible and accountable for own and others work;
