Work & Training together with our valued Host have an amazing opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment where this apprenticeship will provide the on-the-job skills and experience to gain a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Roof Plumbing (CPC32620)
What would this involve?
- You would be employed by Work & Training and hosted to our valued Host Business.
- Work is generally full time – Monday to Friday.
- Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year.
- Attending block training dates through TasTAFE.
- You would receive dedicated mentoring and support throughout the apprenticeship.
- Your workplace supervisors and team would provide daily instruction and additional workplace knowledge.
Learn how to:
- Install and maintain roofs, cladding and flashings.
- Install rainwater products such as downpipes, gutters and storage tanks.
- Work in a safe manner, adhering to strict guidelines and processes.
- Use and maintain a variety of tools and equipment.
- Develop and utilise your practical knowledge in rain and storm water systems.
- Enhance your verbal and written communication skills.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Wage:
- National Training Wage applies.
Essential requirements:
- As a physically demanding role, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing.
- Drivers Licence, reliable vehicle.
- White Card.
