You will be working under supervision, gaining experience and a broad range of skills to contribute to the development of a new subdivision.
- This traineeship is three years in duration and you will obtain a Certificate III in Civil Construction - RII30920. This is a valuable qualification, recognised in all parts of Australia, and could lead to a number of different career pathways.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has:
- A demonstrated interest in developing knowledge and skills in civil construction.
- A very mature and capable approach to life, can use their initiative to solve problems, and can demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- The capacity to follow procedures, instructions and safe work practices.
- The physical capability to perform manual labouring tasks that may involve strenuous activity, repetitive actions and work in an outdoor environment.
- A drivers licence and clean driving record.
What would this involve?
- You would be employed by Work & Training for the duration of your training contract, & hosted our valuable client.
- Full time hours.
- Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year.
- You would receive mentoring and support throughout the traineeship from a Work & Training Apprentice & Employment Consultant.
- Your workplace supervisors would provide daily coaching and opportunity for growth.
- Tasks would include general maintenance, brush cutting, clearing of areas, pipe work and assisting the team.
Desirable Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in operating / handling / maintaining small plant and equipment.

- National Training Wage Applies.
