What would this involve?

  • You would be employed by Work & Training for the duration of your training contract, & hosted our valuable client.
  • Full time hours.
  • Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays for the year.
  • Theory training conducted one-on-one in the workplace with an experienced trainer.

You will obtain your Certificate III in Business - BSB30210 and gain valuable on the job experience that will assist you on your future career pathway.

The Role:

Tellers are the front-line in providing customer service excellence.  You will undertake comprehensive training in this customer facing-role and be responsible for:

  • Conducting customer banking transactions,
  • Selling appropriate banking products and services and
  • Referring the customer to sales specialists where appropriate.  

Teller Expectations:

  • Provide great first impressions for the customers, including great personal presentation, greeting customers with a smile and a welcoming attitude, and fantastic communication, both face to face and over the phone. 
  • Interact with customers in a helpful manner and really connect with each person;
  • Deliver on commitments promised to customers, including proactive follow-up of all inquiries; excellent written communication to all parties, and successful outcome for all concerned.

Wage:

  • National Training Wage Applies.
