This position would be well suited to an individual who would like to begin their career in the healthcare industry whilst also gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
The successful candidate will undertake all aspects of this vital role, including:
- The reprocessing of medical instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control policies.
- Operation of steam sterilisers & equipment.
- Data collection.
- Quality control & compliance.
- Stock control.
- Assisting in the smooth running of the facility and anticipating the needs of other team members, to provide correct equipment.
Work Monday to Friday in the main facility for a period of 12 months, with some rotational placements at outlying clinics, to gain further experience.
Full entitlements including four weeks of paid holidays per year.
National Training Wage applies.
The trainers come to the workplace to teach and assess, and senior staff are by your side to guide you through each stage of the learning process.
Requirements:
- Drivers Licence would be advantageous but not essential.
- An employment-based Working with Vulnerable people Licence would be required prior to commencement.
