If you already have some administration experience but lack that piece of paper to demonstrate your capabilities on your resume, a traineeship may be the answer.

You would obtain your Certificate III Business BSB30120 whilst working alongside supportive and experienced team members within a professional working environment.

What would this involve?

  • You would be employed by Work & Training for the duration of your training contract, & working full time with your host business.
  • Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year.
  • Theory training conducted one-on-one in the workplace with our experienced trainer.
  • You would receive mentoring and support throughout the traineeship.
  • Your workplace supervisors would provide daily coaching and opportunity for growth.

Gain valuable experience on the job:

  • Develop and hone your mature, approachable manner, providing support to the team.
  • The roles would include general administration tasks including phone and face to face customer service, filing, data entry, and assisting with the day-to-day duties involved in the host business.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to schedule and prioritise work, focusing on customer service, and attention to detail.
  • Cultivate a professional attitude and disposition, with the energy and enthusiasm required.

Desirable attributes:

  • Certificate II in Workplace Skills or similar qualification.
  • Prior administration experience.
  • Demonstrated maturity and ability to work within a professional setting.

Wage: National Training Wage Applies.
