Based in Kingston, our valued host is offering a full time traineeship in Supply Chain Operations for the right candidate.

Under expert guidance from your supervisors, gain the knowledge required to become proficient in the area of supply chain operations, specialising in the hire of equipment and machinery. This is a great opportunity for a candidate that excels in customer service, and enjoys using technology.

What can you gain from completing a traineeship through Work & Training?

  • You would be employed by Work & Training – one of the largest employers of Apprentices and Trainees in Tasmania, and hosted to our state-wide client for the duration of the traineeship.
  • Full time hours plus full entitlements including four weeks of annual leave per year.
  • You would receive professional guidance from your immediate supervisors, as well as mentoring and support from a Work & Training field officer.
  • The theory side of your qualification would be conducted one-on-one in the workplace, with expert tuition, by a registered trainer.
  • At the completion of your traineeship you would receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations. 

Learning on the job:

  • Expect to gain confident customer service skills, through interaction with stakeholders both over the phone and face to face, including clients, suppliers and contractors.
  • Develop a working knowledge of all machinery and equipment specifications in order to understand and attend to customer requirements.
  • Become adept in time management, priorities, and scheduling of equipment hire, to meet the needs of the customers and the business.
  • Gain skills in the use of data management, booking systems and other software.
  • Adhere to strict policies and guidelines, especially in regard to Work Health & Safety requirements.

  • Elevated Work Platform.
  • High Risk – Working at Heights certification.
  • First Aid.

Wage:
