Learn how to prepare sites ready for the concrete pour, and the various techniques used in finishing. This is a physical trade. If you love hands-on, outdoor work, this could be what you are looking for.
What would this involve?
- Work & Training would employ you for the duration of the apprenticeship.
- Full time hours over a four year time frame.
- Full entitlements including four weeks of paid holidays per year.
- Theory training conducted in blocks each year.
- Mentoring and support provided throughout the traineeship.
- Your workplace supervisors would provide daily coaching and opportunity for growth.
Desired skills and attributes:
- Physically fit – a medical will be undertaken prior to commencement.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to take direction and follow procedures.
- Can demonstrate good team work.
- Great attitude, organised, with the willingness to work hard.
- Enjoys working outdoors.
- Willingness to work additional paid overtime in this busy work environment.
- A genuine desire to work in the industry and complete this trade qualification.
Essential:
- Manual Driver’s license.
- White Card.
