This is an Education Support qualification, based within a Catholic Primary School environment, and would suit a school leaver with a keen and genuine interest in pursuing Education Support as a stepping stone to a future career in Education.
What would this involve?
- Work & Training would employ you for the duration of the traineeship.
- Working hours would be 8.30am - 3pm Monday to Friday.
- Excellent opportunity for experience in several areas as the traineeship progresses.
- Theory training conducted one-on-one in the workplace with experienced trainers.
- Mentoring and support provided throughout the traineeship.
- Your workplace supervisors would provide coaching and opportunity for growth.
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Resilience and the ability to navigate challenges.
- Ability to adhere to strict guidelines within the Catholic Schools Tasmania framework.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, with maturity, initiative & common sense.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Education Support and obtaining your Certificate III Qualification: CHC30221.
The successful candidate must:
- Have Employment registration under Registration to Work with Vulnerable People prior to commencing the traineeship.
- National Police Check.

- National Training Wage applies.
