Would you like an opportunity to commence your career as a dental technician, constructing dentures and other dental appliances?

In conjunction with our client, Oral Health Services Tasmania, we are pleased to offer this 4-year Diploma in Dental Technology. The apprenticeship involves working with a dedicated team who cover a range of skills and experience.

The apprenticeship will entail supporting dental clinicians and other dental staff, in areas such as denture construction and other oral appliances such as protective mouth guards, working in a digital laboratory with 3D printers, as well as a traditional laboratory.

Do you:

  • Have an eye for detail & fine motor skills to deal with delicate functions?
  • Have sound I.T. skills and an interest in digital technology?
  • Feel you will work well as part of a close-knit team who have a range of experience?
  • Have a passion for working in the health sector?
  • Feel you will be able to commit to the training required for a potentially long-term future in dental technology? 
  • Communicate effectively?
  • Have exceptional personal hygiene & presentation?

What would this involve?

  • Work Monday to Friday in the Laboratory over a four-year time frame.
  • Full entitlements including four weeks of paid holidays per year.
  • Funded training – including travel and accommodation – in Victoria, several times per year.
  • National Apprenticeship Wage applies.

Essential requirements:

  • Working with Vulnerable People licence.
