What would this involve?

• You would be employed by Work & Training for the duration of your training contract, & hosted to our valuable client.
• Full time hours - 38 hours per week.
• Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year.
• Theory training conducted by TasTAFE with face to face classes on a monthly basis.
• You would receive mentoring and support throughout the traineeship.
• You would be working under direct supervision, gaining experience and a broad range of skills to contribute to maintaining play equipment, and the upkeep of gardens and general grounds.

• Have you a genuine interest in gardening and landscaping? Over a 3 year time frame you will gain fantastic hands-on knowledge.
• Develop your capacity to follow procedures, instructions and safe work practices.

Essential Criteria:

• Working with Vulnerable People licence

Desirable Criteria:

• A current Drivers Licence
• Demonstrated experience in operating / handling small plant and equipment.

• National Training Wage Applies.
