About the role
At Wesfarmers Corporate Office, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive Facilities Coordinator to join our team. From managing daily operations to coordinating maintenance and fostering a safe, efficient workplace, you'll play a key role in creating a seamless experience for employees and visitors. What you’ll do
Reporting to the Office Manager, this role offers a diverse range of responsibilities to ensure efficient operation of the office. You'll be entrusted with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Front Office
- Act as the first point of contact for team members and visitors, managing office inquiries and support needs.
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the office, ensuring all areas of the office are maintained to a very high standard.
- Manage meeting room bookings, workspace allocation, catering, and office supplies within budget.
- Coordinate mail, couriers, and office security access cards.
- Ensure office amenities (coffee machine, dishwashers, printers, recycling, etc.) are maintained.
Facilities
- Liaise with building management, contractors, and procurement to manage office budgets, contracts, and compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
- Oversee the implementation of office policies, equipment maintenance, and cleaning services.
- Coordinate office events, health & wellness activities, and new team member onboarding.
- Monitor fire, emergency, and medical equipment to ensure compliance and functionality.
- Handle ad hoc requests as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
What you’ll need
- Experience in office management, administration, or facilities in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work autonomously
- Customer-service oriented, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
