We’re now looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in protecting our organisation’s information assets.
The Role
As an Information Security Analyst, you’ll report directly to the Head of IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security and be at the forefront of safeguarding Kinetic’s systems and data from cyber threats. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats.
- Developing strategic roadmaps to address security risks.
- Managing outsourced Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) partnerships.
- Responding to and managing security incidents, including creating detailed reports and recommendations.
- Leading cyber security awareness initiatives, including training and phishing campaigns.
- Maintaining compliance with industry standards such as Essential 8 and ISO27001.
- Driving the development and upkeep of the Information Security Manual.
About You
You’re a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for cyber security and a collaborative mindset. Your qualifications and experience include:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in information security with a strong technical background.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent (highly recommended).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Essential 8 ML3, ISO27001, and ITIL frameworks.
- Skills: Analytical abilities, stakeholder engagement, and excellent communication.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT, Business Management, or a related field.
- Extras: Project management experience and the ability to thrive in a high-speed, fast-paced environment.
