The opportunity

Our On Road Supervisors are the main presence across the entire Melbourne bus network ensuring that our drivers are well supported, and our passengers have the best journey possible. Reporting to the Network Support Specialist, you will be a key member of our Service Delivery team by completing a variety of on-road assistance tasks and promoting our commitment to delivering safe, accessible, and reliable transport solutions for our valued customers.

What you'll bring

• Well-developed communication skills to engage with people from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of the Melbourne public transport network highly desirable
• Experience with coaching, supporting and mentoring employees
• Experience with deescalating and resolving situations involving conflict
• Ability to remain calm, problem-solve and respond appropriately in high pressure situations 
• Ability to embrace change and adapt to an evolving work environment
• Available to work Monday to Saturdays on a rotating roster
• Hold or be willing to obtain a heavy vehicle drivers’ licence (MR or above)
